I have impulses to make things.
Sometimes I follow them, like when I made this website.

How is bamboo to knit with? Better or worse than silk? I keep seeing it mentioned and for sale online, but I've yet to come across it in person.
I like the texture on the scarf. They'll probably look reall good when it's on, sort of not-exactly-rib-ish.
Incidentally, if you ever change your mind about the stitchmarkers, I'll put in a pair of hooks in with them (so they can be converted to earrings) on request and there's £1 off each subsequent set if you buy more than one set.
I cannot compare bamboo with silk because I've never knitted silk yet! This bamboo is kinda splitty (but then I'm using rather pointy needles), very very soft and well, silky. The drape is incredible, and it's cool - temperature wise I mean - to work with, perfect for summer knitting.

I'm making a note on those stitchmarkers! :-)
